During this morning walk, I still found a few raindrops resting on the leaves. They were not as dense as yesterday, but they were still enough to catch my attention. I figured it was another good chance to take more photos before the sunlight and breeze slowly removed them from the surface.
I like how these droplets look in black and white. Without the distraction of colors, the shape of the leaf, the fine lines, and the shiny surface of the water become more noticeable. The droplets may be fewer this time, but they still created a quiet kind of beauty. Sometimes, even a small detail is enough to make a photo interesting.
This morning also felt really pleasant. Thanks to the heavy rain yesterday, the air was cooler and less humid. There was a steady breeze that made the walk more comfortable. I would say it was a perfect morning, the kind that makes you feel calm and grateful without needing anything extraordinary to happen.
I guess life is also like this sometimes. The big moments may pass, but there are still small traces left behind for us to appreciate. Yesterday’s rain may be gone, but the droplets on the leaves reminded me that something beautiful can remain even after a strong downpour.
We don’t always need a grand scene to feel inspired. Sometimes, all it takes is a quiet morning, a few raindrops, and the willingness to slow down and notice what is still there.
Have a good day ahead.
