Rain can be annoying sometimes, especially when it interrupts our plans or makes the day feel gloomy. There are moments when we wish for clear skies instead, but I also realized that the rain brings something important. It provides nourishment to the plants in the garden, and because of that, I really cannot complain too much.
After the rain, the garden feels more alive. The flowers begin to bloom, the leaves look refreshed, and the small raindrops resting on them create a beautiful scene. These are the moments that I enjoy photographing, especially in black and white. Without color, the shapes and contrast become more noticeable. The bright petals stand out against the darker leaves, while the droplets add a quiet detail that makes the scene more interesting.
I think this kind of weather reminds us that change is necessary. We may not always like it, but it often brings something good in return. Just like the plants need rain to grow, maybe we also need certain changes in life to appreciate things better. Some days may feel inconvenient or uncomfortable, but they can still bring lessons, beauty, and growth.
These photos are a simple reminder for me to look around and appreciate what life has to offer. Sometimes, beauty is already there, waiting to be noticed. It can be in a flower blooming after the rain, in droplets resting on leaves, or in the quiet atmosphere that comes after a heavy downpour.
My advice is to slow down, look around, and appreciate the small blessings around you. Life may not always give us perfect weather, but it always gives us something worth noticing.
Have a good day ahead.
