Since it is the weekend, I was able to enjoy a longer walk this morning without worrying too much about the time or about being late for work. That alone already made the day feel lighter. Weekends have a different kind of freedom. They give me space to slow down, breathe more deeply, and enjoy the morning without too many concerns waiting for me right away. It is one of the reasons why I always feel more relaxed and less burdened when the weekend comes.
During this walk, I also got to take photos of different subjects for my black and white collection. There were flowers, leaves, and interesting shapes that caught my attention along the way. What I like about black and white photography is how it makes me focus more on texture, form, contrast, and light. Even simple subjects can feel more expressive when color is removed and the details are allowed to stand on their own.
As I looked through the photos afterward, I realized that this little project of mine has really grown into a gallery of many images. It feels good to see that I now have a meaningful collection built from many months of walks and quiet moments. I am truly glad that I started doing this. At first, it may have seemed like a simple habit, but over time it became something more personal. It became a way for me to document not only what I see, but also how I feel in those moments.
That is what I appreciate most about this routine. Every walk gives me a chance to collect small pieces of beauty, and every photo becomes part of a bigger story. Looking back, I can say that this collection is not just about photography anymore. It is also about peace, consistency, and learning to appreciate ordinary days.
Have a good day ahead!
