It has been raining almost every day lately, and honestly, it is something I still haven’t fully adjusted to. There are moments when it feels a bit frustrating, especially when I want to go outside for a walk or take photos under better lighting. The weather has its own plans, and sometimes all I can do is wait.
But of course, my positive mindset still prevails. Instead of focusing too much on the inconvenience, I try to find something enjoyable from it. One of the best ways for me to do that is through photography.
These photos were taken after the rain, when the flowers and leaves were still covered with droplets. In black and white, the scene looked even more dramatic. The drops of water resting on the petals looked like tiny precious gems. They gave the flowers a different kind of beauty, something softer and more peaceful.
Rain can make everything wet and messy, and sometimes it can be annoying. But when I look at how the plants and trees are benefiting from it, I don’t really want to complain too much. The rain may interrupt our plans, but for nature, it brings life. It refreshes the leaves, feeds the roots, and makes everything look alive again.
That is something I want to remember in life as well. Not every situation will be comfortable for us, but sometimes the same thing that feels inconvenient may be helping something else grow. It is all about how we look at it.
For me, photography helps me see the beauty behind these small moments. Even after days of rain, there is still something worth appreciating.
Have a great day ahead.
