I work at a ski resort as a Snowmaker.
This is my job, to provide more snow than Mother Nature can naturally provide.
I work 8pm-8am. A significant portion of the shift is spent in darkness. The headlamp on your helmet and the light of a snowmobile is all you have to illuminate your surroundings.
Tunnel vision
It’s always nice when the sun finally rises and lifts the veil of darkness, so you can see what you’ve accomplished.
