This dog was stoically positioned near a brown metal door, somehow perfectly framed within the natural lines of the shot. The cobblestone street and tile mosaic invited a lovely splash of geometry and provide contrast to the curves of the animal. I decided not to do much in post, as the colors were honestly quite true to life, a muted parade of greys, beiges, and browns.
