An unexceptional day, except that it was spent with my little boy.
My children make me want to try harder to get up and get moving.
I keep trying for them.
This is our day in images.
He is learning to read and has shown an interest in signs.
He has to know what every sign means.
Can anyone help me out with this one?
We only had a short walk.
He likes construction equipment. A LOT!
Someone in high vis is pretty much considered a marvel super hero.
It's amazing the things I don't notice, that a 4 year old finds interesting.
Tactile paving for visually impaired people was a topic of discussion. He says it's good... I agreed. 😊
Recycling bins also strongly approved of, although reusing or avoiding packaging he instructed me is better.
Garbage left by naughty people was frowned upon.
We didn't get any flower shots today.
But we did come across this pile of lovely wintry yellow leaves.
My suggestion that this was the door to the Ninja Turtles sewer lair was dismissed as completely ridiculous.
They live in New York!
Minion / TMNT.
Our destination was swimming lessons.
Another fascinating sign discussion.
We almost didn't go. He doesn't usually like it, he hates putting his face in the water.
It's a big effort to go to. We can stay home and scream for free.
But today was a break though success.
His face was in water so much I was a bit nervous at times.
I asked him if it was his sisters golden cap that inspired his bravery.
Or the minion mascot we took with us for moral support?
He said there was a toy crocodile on the bottom of the pool that he was looking at. 😂
Thanks for checking out our Wednesday colour challenge yellow My picture day.
One last image.
This baby minion joey pouch was a highly amusing afternoon game.
Clearly I need to get out more.

All images are my own and taken on my OPPO android phone. Some minor processing in the way of cropping, exposure completed also on my phone using Photoshop express.
has been running The Picture Day Challenge, for a long time.
It is round 30 and I have finally made a submission.
I have actually set out to document a day with the intention of joining this challenge before, but have (for what ever reason) not ended up posting.
I want to shout out to
today.
Although I haven't been an active participant, this challenge has helped get me out into the world and looking upon my environment with a renewed perspective.
