Norilsk Airport (Alykel), located in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (south of the Taimyr peninsula) is thirty-six kilometers west of the city of Norilsk. It has the status of an internal airport of federal significance, is an airfield of joint basing with state aviation. Equated with the international conditions (crossing the airways: trans-Siberian and trans-Atlantic).
The airport is the only connection between the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other regions of Russia, not counting navigation along the Yenisei River and the Northern Sea Route. It is connected with Dudinka and Norilsk highway.
The airport is often closed due to unfavorable weather conditions: strong side wind, snow drifts, runway icing, limited visibility, in the summer due to fog.
In the photo, the aircraft TU-154M, it is already decommissioned and no longer flies to Norilsk.
And here the IL-86 is captured, it is also decommissioned and does not fly.
