Once in a while, you come across a bad apple, and you just know you have to snap a photo of it. I took these with an old Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 retrofitted to my Canon XSi. These were taken in very late fall before snowfall, after the leaves had fallen, and the few remaining apples started rotting on the branches. I don't know what attracted me to them, but I felt I just had to capture them.
