In previous posts, I have mentioned that I take part in a local Estonian photo contest. Out of 500 people im now in the top 10. This means I made it to the finals. I actually never imagined to make it this far but I'm in and that is great. Now there is only one topic for final and this is "HOME". I have time till Monday morning to submit my photo. I was having a really hard time thinking of what should I do or take a photo of.
My mother offered an idea that she has a friend that has really cute and home that looks really... home. So today we drove there so I could capture some shots.
This is the first shot I took from the living room.
I think there was something missing so I asked my mother the be on the photo as well. Not really pose or anything but to be like in natural habitat, reading a magazine. I think HOME includes people as well.
I also took a photo from the kitchen because it looks absolutely great but I failed to get good lighting conditions and even post-processing didn't help so I'm not including this.
Third photo here is also from the living room but in another direction. Including family photos that strongly resembles home in my opinion.
The fourth one is kind of similar but there and more close to the family photos but it doesn't include photos on the wall of the old relatives.
My final choice Is critical. The rivalry is huge and I know the last 10 people left are hard to beat. For podium places, there are pretty nice money prizes coming. Still, even if I don't make it to the podium, I'm okay with that. I am already honored to be one of the very few chosen ones to participate in finals.
