Hello All !!
I hope you are all doing great ! Today I invite you to enjoy a photograph that every time I look at it, it just takes me to that magic place, Guri, Located to the South of Venezuela in the Bolivar State.
It all started with an invitation for a fishing trip, I've always enjoyed fishing with my dad since I was a toddler, but this time was not only the fishing that drew me, I was very exited to fly my new gear, a drone, Phantom 4 that I was dyeing to try on Venezuelan landscapes.
First days of the trip were mostly fishing in the rain, I was a little sad cause I didn't catch anything and to make matters worse no flight time in the first two days, I had only one more left !!
But there is a Spanish saying "the one who perseveres wins" crappy translation I think in English is more like "Perseverance pays" so on the third day, the afternoon was just gorgeous, it was not raining and it all pointed out to an incredible sunset, so flyaway I did, recorded several video of the camp and lake, clouds blocked the sun, so I was flying waiting for the perfect moment, twenty minutes after takeoff it was right there the shot I have been waiting for, just as the return home warning started beeping, but I couldn't just yet! I had to capture it ! Had to check for the framing, exposure, please be focused !
Nerve racking that I would run out of battery before coming back, I couldn't think straight, took approximately 10 photos before being forced to come back full speed, controller wouldn't stop beeping, but I made it just in time, barely a minute left of battery, to those of you that fly drones, you know this is very unhealthy, for those who don't usually you should be back with at least a 15% battery just in case anything goes wrong, but I was lucky and the result is this !
I would like to thank for his mention about this picture on his blog, Thank you so much for your support, didn't get first place but it was fun to participate :)
