When most people think of the Ozarks, they tend to think of less than kind stereotypes of banjos, Jean overalls, and spitting jugs. Let me share a trip to the real Ozarks- to a farmer's market no less!
Nearly everything here is hand made and locally sourced. Plenty of places talk about shopping local, but here it's practiced. We couldn't even get any honey or burgers because they were sold out by the time we got there!
The place was packed, even though it runs daily. Saturday is always the biggest day.
You want micro breweries? Oh we got micro breweries!
And of course it wouldn't be an event without food trucks. There were at least 6 here, and all sold out.
There's so many vendors here, it's the ideal local market, the archetypical town center. Some examples:
I know most steemians are into economics, and I'm one of them. Seeing actual creators and growers connecting directly with local buyers to create such a great atmosphere and fun time was just idyllic.
