It was the same time that Bitcoin was around 20k and Steemit accounts were being created like crazy with all of the news blossoming on cryptocurrency. I'm included in the mass that joined in January of 2018 and I'm curious how many of us who have only watched the price decrease have stuck around. Huge props to those who have been here from the beginning!
The hampster wheel effect
I've watched my account grow very slowly as the price of Steem/SBD goes down while my account is walking on its hands uphill. Both ways...
REMINDER: A post that makes you a penny has earned you more than most social networks sites will ever pay you. Set your goals and do what it takes to achieve them and be mindful that goals take work. I made a post about my goals awhile back and I will continue to work on this list until all have been achieved.
A photography based goal of mine is to get better at night photography. It's something I've avoided for most of the 3 years that I have been shooting. I'm lazy and don't really care to shoot from a tripod, to be honest. Sometimes though, its required to get the shot you desire and that's where the work comes into play.
I've wanted this specific shot (Milky Way over the homestead) for a while now and recently heard rumors that the owner is going to burn the house to the ground. This was maybe my 3rd time doing astrophotography and my first time with my current camera setup which I could have gone for a wider lens but I'm content with the result.
