#Blog - It's not about the camera, it's about the moment
Greetings, Steemians! I'd like to showcase some pictures I took around my neighborhood. These photos were taken from a Microsoft Lumia 532 cellphone, that possesses a meager 5 MP camera with limited resources, since I lost my Lumia 1020 - i cri everytiem.
Sometimes you just can't let a beautiful view slip through. When will you have such opportunity ever again? It's about you to grab it and don't let it go!
With no further delay, here are some pictures and the stories behind them. None of them were edited or enhanced in any way. The result is "as is".
Botafogo Sunset
An all time favourite, this picture was taken in an evening at the Botafogo neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro. The sky was tinted orange because of a rather cloudy peculiar summer sunset and I couldn't skip such a beautiful view.
Colors in a gray day
Rainbow over Triagem Metro station, Rio de Janeiro. There were a few raining clouds that day, but it was sunny at the other side and this beautiful rainbow appeared. I tried my best to capture it, but it wasn't very clear. It was a nice picture, nonetheless.
Tasty view
A mix of chopped grilled top sirloin steaks, sausages and chicken breast under a nice layer of french fries, when I was with my fianceé, sister-in-law and her cousin at a restaurant. The landscape around here is this gorgeous mountain of good food haha.
Blue skies
Although the camera has limited resources, there are some. I took a short exposure picture that enhanced the tone of sky considerably. This is my neighborhood São Francisco Xavier, Rio de Janeiro. I was waiting for my fianceé to arrive when I decided to give this a shot and it worked nicely.
