A photographer named Larry Anthony Pannell managed to immortalize a male lion in the Kruger national park, South Africa that slowly died of abandonment of his group.
The lion is emaciated since its source of food is gone. As we know, males are not good hunters. In contrast to the lioness who is good at food hunting.
At first Pannell saw the skinny lion was drinking in a puddle. After drinking, the hard-working lion tries to stand up. And the road rushed away from the puddle.
Until finally after walking with difficulty, the lion and even then uprooted. After a while, the photographer approached the lion. They should only get closer to 5 feet. He saw the lion lying dying under a tree.
Even when an adult elephant approached the lion, the lion could not attack him. The lion can only escape and his escape towards the elephant becomes his last breath.
