June 2016. Sometimes, you feel the need to see things from a different point of view. This was the case, that day of June 2016. It was a cloudy day, the urbanscape had lost its colors and the people seemed to get into a sad mood. I was walking in the city, as usual, keeping an eye on the grey, heavy, sky and thinking that it could be a year with a rainy summer. A thought that turned me into a bad mood. I was walking downtown, around the Monastiraki district, with my camera and my cloudy thoughts, trying to catch the inspiration and concentrate on my target which was to take a photo full of natural city colors. In vain! All the colors were faded, and the smell of the rain was already there. I was about to give up and ready to go to some cafeteria to wait for the rain to start its performance... when looking in front of me I noticed the color line that was formed thanks to a sunray that had suddenly escaped from the clouds. I looked at this new image from a different point of view, instinctively, and I immediately took this photo. If I remember well, it was the only photo from that day, the day I felt the need to see things from a different point of view, just for escaping from the embracement of a bad mood. Here is that photo, I hope you like it, have a nice day (and mood)!!!
