I certainly didn't know of this fact before today, but with its' shiny red to purplish peel, not forgeting its' deep red inner peel, this fruit have that cuteness overload. It's a shame though that with its' thick colourful peel, they are wasted. BUT anyone who wants to do a bit of reading about mangosteen will find that it is packed with loads of healthy benefits, not just having an epic anti-oxidant effect as most fruits are.
