Salem Lake is in North Carolina. It is a lovely park with a 7 mile long trail. The trail is used for walking, running, bike riding and is also pet friendly. There is a beautiful lake for boating and fishing. There is also a playground area for children along with picnic tables.
This is a great family spot that caters to everyone. It is my new favorite walking trail. It is in the city, and yet rich in nature. A perfect spot to connect with nature, exercise, and not have to travel too far out of your way. Wish me well! I will be challenging myself to walk the 7 mile course 3 days a week.
