This year is going fast, and in Berlin we can already hear the words of Ned Stark in the distance...
I was away for a few days and came back facing a shocking state of writer's block. I wanted to circumvent this as I don't like leaving big gaps without posting anything on Steemit, but at the same time I don't like posting complete garbage, so I needed to find a compromise; and this is what I came up with:
Autumn is my favorite season of the year, and even more so since I moved to Berlin. Throughout my years living here, I have made quite a collection of shots capturing my favorite moments in the city, dressed in such fantastic, vibrant colors during the autumnal months.
Here is a selection of some of said captures to commemorate this time of rapid change in the year, a little window into the views that have filled my eyes during the past years. I hope you enjoy them!
A view of Plötzensee, during one of my morning runs.
Karma Kameleon folliage (red, golden, green) glowing with sunshine.
The colorful confetti left on hidden paths...
Where Prenzlauer Berg meets Mitte: Corner near Senefelderplatz.
Beautiful pink and coral shades, my personal favorites.
One of my favorite autumnal events: art week in Berlin. Here a picture of the Berliner Liste, an art fair held at Kraftwerk, and old electricity plant repurposed as an art and conference venue.
Little fellows outside Johan Potma's studio in Schönleinstrasse,
The view from what used to be my favorite coffee place in Berlin (now closed): Antipodes coffee in Fehrbelliner Str.
I have always felt like early Autumn offers the most intense multicolored sunsets. Train platform at Schönhauser Allee (you can see the TV Tower, a landmark of Berlin, in the background!).
The vanilla sky reflected on the surface of the Plötzensee.
Peaceful sunny afternoon at Reheberge park.
Wet tiles and a colorful explosion at Virchow Clinic.
Fields of gold at Virchow clinic.
Back to regular programming soon... meanwhile have a terrific week!
Cheers,
Irime
