This is a beautiful smelling, fully blossomed grapefruit flower. If you have ever smelled the sweet fragrance of an orange blossom it is similar to that yet also reminded me of a jasmine flower. Sweet and uplifting, a beautiful enchanting fragrance sure to brighten your mood. If you ever get a chance to smell a grapefruit flower you definitely should!
My children and I were taking a walk near our home in an area quite moist and wet, at around 2,000 feet elevation, where grapefruits were growing quite abundantly. I was fascinated with the different stages and I wanted to capture as many of the stages as I could. So here is a sequential look at the many stages of a grapefruit, from flower buds, to fully grown grapefruits, I hope you enjoy them.
