I have spent my weekend in Taalintehdas, a small town almost as south as you can get in Finland. I was born and raised here, and here live about 1000 people, just to give you a better picture of how small a place it really is. But I'll tell you more about my hometown later.
Today I took a 10 minutes boat ride out to our very small isle were we have our summer cottage, I haven't been here in years so it felt very nostalgic and so relaxing coming out here. Back when I was younger I used to come here and stay for weeks with my family, it was the best! Inside the cottage isn't too much space so we always played outside, lots of fresh air and salty water, what is better than that!

I feel like a whole new person after spending the day out to sea like this, so refreshing!
