That's Amore!
Any time I look up at the moon, I always think of Tom Hanks in Apollo 13. Before he, Jim Lovell, was setting out for his mission to the moon, he would stare up at it, placing his thumb over it and looking at it with one eye. This represented that even though from Earth it appears as just a speck in the sky, easily covered up with one finger, this is still a huge celestial object.
I took these shot this morning of the moon, still holding strong not wanting to disappear from the sky for the day. It was such a clear morning, making it optimal for getting a shot. I used a telescopic lens for my new Canon camera, for using my camera phone wouldn't allow for any detail.
Happy steeming friends.
