I have looking for a while something to replace my old Canon Powershot camera. It has been a struggle with ideas, hopes and reality. Then this "Godfather moment" happened and I got such an offer out of Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ82 that I could not refuse it. So my earlier first choices (new Canon or Nikon) was beaten by rational price/quality comparison.
Never had an Panasonic camera before, and even there are many familiar and similar things on every camera those small different things feel lot bigger when you are trying capture a picture in fast pace or fast moving target. So there was lot of later or other ways bad pictures in first shooting day. But i believe that it just takes some repetition to get new things in "spinal cord".
Here are some pictures from those first testing and learning shootings.
And this last one is not so great technically but i like the concept of how that common crane is fighting it's way throw that blizzard to those summer nesting and living places.
