This was taken at one of my favorite places I've visited so far here in Puerto Rico. There is a really nice beach here (Playa Guajataca), some small mom and pop vendors and an amazing old vintage tunnel, a Taino Indian face carving the size of a car and nice hiking from what I hear. I've heard of stories from the late 70's or early 80's where they turned the tunnel into a night club but I'll leave all that for a later post.
As you can see the shoreline is quite amazing from this location and it feels pretty cool knowing this is directly where the old train tracks were and that people would look out their train cars and see such an amazing view. There is much more to this area to explore and document and I will do so in due time. Thanks for checking out my post!
"Guajataca Tunnel is a railroad tunnel that connected the town of Isabela and Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. The tunnel is one of the most significant work of the remnants of the national railway system that connected the island during the first half of the twentieth century." Wikipedia
