After the Rain / Nach dem Regen

Finally some sun again, what a beautiful sight - I almost did not recognize her when she looked in through the window into my office.

Endlich mal wieder etwas Sonne, was für ein schöner Anblick - fast hätte ich sie nicht erkannt, als sie durch das Bürofenster hereingeschaut hat.

I enjoyed the walk at the reservoir under the blue sky this afternoon after work and did not take a single photo.

Due to the weather of the last weeks, everything was wet and the ground was muddy, but it was nice to finally be out again without rain and gray clouds.

Ich habe heute Nachmittag nach der Arbeit den Spaziergang am Stausee unter ziemlich blauem Himmel genossen und kein einziges Foto geschossen.

Wegen des Wetters der letzten Wochen war alles nass und der Boden matschig, aber es war schön, endlich wieder mal ohne Regen und graue Wolken draußen zu sein.

I took these pictures after a rainy night at the end of July. If I had been there this morning, the forest would probably have looked similar, except for the now leafless trees of course.

Diese Bilder habe ich nach einer regnerischen Nacht Ende Juli gemacht. Wenn ich heute Morgen dort gewesen wäre, dann hätte der Wald wahrscheinlich ähnlich ausgeschaut, bis auf die jetzt laublosen Bäume natürlich.

The trees in the foreground are on the other side of the reservoir and the foggy forest even further behind. Because the fog and clouds were so dense, the morning sun did not come through and there was only a slight orange hue.

Die Bäume im Vordergrund sind bereits auf der anderen Seite des Stausees und der neblige Wald noch viel weiter hinten. Weil der Nebel und die Wolken so dicht waren, kam die Morgensonne nicht durch und es war nur eine leichte orangene Färbung zu erkennen.

I photographed this single tree on the hill several times last winter, when there was dense fog and the tree was frozen frosty white.
As soon as it finally gets frosty this year or snow falls, I want to go back to that hill and take new photos of the tree.

Diesen einzelnen Baum auf dem Hügel habe ich schon letzten Winter mehrmals fotografiert, wobei er damals im dichten Nebel gestanden und frostig weiß gefroren gewesen ist.
Sobald es diesen Winter endlich frostig wird oder Schnee fällt, werde ich wieder auf den Hügel fahren und ihn nochmals fotografieren.

Now, after spending an afternoon outdoors, my mood is very positive again and I hope that the weather will be nice again tomorrow and finally the winter comes with some snow and frost.

Jetzt, nach einem Nachmittag im Freien, ist meine Stimmung wieder sehr positiv und ich hoffe sehr, dass das Wetter morgen auch wieder schön werden wird und nun endlich der Winter mit etwas Schnee und Frost kommt.
