People around the world probably would think I am weird for being happy at seeing rain. But it rarely rains here and anytime it does, it’s a such a blessed day for everyone and everything living here, humans and animals, trees and other vegetation.
Most of the time it’s nice, warm and sunny in Southern California, sometimes it’s hot as in an oven, really! Like 120 degrees Fahrenheit- dry and fry hot!
Today it’s been nice here, warm, with some grey clouds gathering above in the skies, which eventually became heavy with water and rain started pouring down to the ground. Made me really happy because with rain and all that free water pouring down I would not have to water my plants! Yeah!!!
Please note, however, that while I ran outside to snap a photo of rain evidence and started writing this post, the rain changed to sprinkle and now completely stopped....oh well, at least it smells like it rained., and some of the dust was washed off the roofs of the houses.:)
