With my group of the German language school I took a trip to the printing house Druckhaus Spandau in Berlin. This printing house is part of the Axel Springer AG, one of the largest media groups in the world.
The range of orders undertaken by this printing house includes nine daily and five Sunday newspapers, Bild, Welt am Sonntag, Die Welt, Berliner Morgenpost and Der Tagesspiegel are some examples. Around 1.2 million newspapers are produced and dispatched fresh from the press daily. Also make job printing for various market segments.
I had permission to shoot pictures with my Canon 550D camera and achieve capture some of the vastness and speed of that place. It is really huge and in some places nothing happens, everything is quiet. But in other everything moves to an incredible, impossible to follow with eyes speed.
