First flights are special and memorable, just like most things you do in life for the very first time. It evokes a sense of awe and excitement, and you tend to imagine the things you will experience and do when you actually go onto the aircraft that will take you through the mystical clouds and across the expanse of oceans and lands, finally landing at your destination in a very short duration which would otherwise have taken you much longer to reach if you'd used a different means of transport. I don't exactly remember where I was flying to for my first aircraft trip, but I do recall being excited and I was also hoping to be seated near the window to be able to see the things passing by outside. After that first flight, I've been on several more and although the enthusiasm is not the same as it was when I was younger, I do enjoy peeping out the window every now and then to see a zoomed out view of the world we inhabit and it does give us an interesting perspective on things. On a recent trip, my friend was quite excited since it was his first time on an aircraft, and I could happily recollect my own memories by seeing his actions and enthusiasm.
