And the end of my street is a liquor warehouse. Or maybe I can better say...was. Finally the building has been demolished, guess how it smells around my house now.. YUK!!
This is how the building looked for the last 6 months. It was hit hard by hurricane Irma and could not been demolished until insurance gave clearance.
Inside this place was a gigantic storage for booze, mostly beers. All of this merchandise was still inside the building for months. The building was open and so often I could see people walking inside and steal some liquor. This is super dangerous actually because at first, the drinks had been there in the sun for almost half a year. Secondly because every time the wind was picking up, a piece of the building seemed to collapse.
Two days ago all of a sudden it started to smell like beer. But I mean old beer, as if you walked into a bar in the middle the afternoon. They had started to demolish the building all of a sudden
As you see, metal, stones, glass all on one pile.
And boom: all of a sudden the building is gone! Finally they made it happen. With even more scent of beer I woke up, to see that the building is gone. Hurricane Irma ate the warehouse.
