It was a whirlwind experience in Valencia. I took the Renfe down for a day and a half to take in the sights and sounds of Barcelona's little sister city.
The entire city is very walkable, but in order to make the most efficient use of our only full day, a tourist bus made the most sense. It took us around the city, and there were special hop on/hop off points. We chose to hop off at L'Oceanografic, which is a sprawling campus of sea life and exhibits. Fish, penguins, seals, even birds, reside here.
The town felt familiar but alien all at the same time. Slower vibe than Barcelona, but not boring at all.
I took quite a few shots on my phone throughout the day. It was hard to cull down from the endless folder of snaps, so please enjoy my favorites below. If you have any questions about locations or back story to any of the images, drop them in the comments.
¡Salud!
