I recently had the chance to visit the court in Putrajaya.
As some of you may know, the Palace of Justice is the apex court in Malaysia. That's where the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court are situated.
But not many realise that the Syariah court (Sharia court) is right behind the Palace of Justice.
The Shariah court is a lovely building and features many elements of Islamic architecture.
Here are some photos of the shariah court in Putrajaya, and its lovely architecture.
Here is a shot of the fountain. And the words on the wall show that it is the shariah court.
Detail from a column.
The pillars and the onion shaped arches certainly look very classy.
Just a few steps back. Same pillars.
Glancing upwards, there's a view of the sky.
A silhouette. Or a frame. Either way, nice view.
