This nice telecommunications tower stands on the banks of the Rhine, in Düsseldorf. Height - 240,5 m. And almost all these meters we can safely climb with the elevator. Why should we climb to such a height? Well, firstly, this is the highest building, higher in Düsseldorf only on the aircraft) And secondly, at the top there is an observation platform for all 360 °, in which there is a cafe / restaurant.
For the entrance to the tower you need to pay a few euros, and at the top you can absolutely enjoy the views, and if you want — it's nice to sit, eat and drink. On the glass walls of the platform from the inside you can practically lie down and look at the surroundings from the tower as if almost out of it, because the body will be strongly moved forward, and only feets are on the floor remain inside. It's a little scary with unaccustomed. The main thing is not to be afraid of heights)
At night we watched, lying on such a fragile-looking glass, on the city in the lights below, on the luminous snakes of the lights-roads and the winding river. I suspect that the sunrise and sunset views from the tower are wonderful. This photo is quite simple, but for some reason I really like it.
In any case, if you are in Dusseldorf, I highly recommend to visit Rainturm. Traditionally, German beer inside is very, very good :)
P.S. You can click on the photo and watch it in larger size.
