Good evening, Steemit. I’m going to take a moment to pat myself on the back for being so consistent with my posting. The last three weeks have been unreal, traveling to the otherwise of the world, and back. Even know, I’m back in LA, and I feel despite the bombardment of this impossible pace, I’m still making my Steemit blogging a part of my day. Maybe the universe is rewarding that because I noticed, even though the entire market is in the red, STEEM is green and gaining! I’m serious! It’s really encouraging. The Steemit team has been investing so much in to turning things around and I love witnessing this kind of resilience.
Alright. I have new photography to share! A few months ago, I did an event called “Ladies First”, with my photographer friend Ana. It’s her event. I was just a guest photographer, which I don’t mind. I’m not crazy about doing these all inclusive events, but the money is good and the stress […for me at least] is relatively low. We had five clients, and each pinup shot with both photographers for 30 minutes each. The location was a beautiful midcentury modern home in Paradise, NV. I even had my own green room which meant I could read my Kindle until it was time to shoot.
The models name is Rose D’Luxe and coincidentally, she’s from Australia. In fact, leading up to my Melbourne trip, she was instrumental in helping me find locations to shoot, friends to stay with and the ins and outs of Aussie life and travel. Obviously, she’s a total knockout and I loved shooting with her. She brought a Honey Birdette lingerie set that has become a sought after commodity in the pinup scene, which heightened the excitement of our shoot even more. Like most Aussie’s I’ve met, she was high energy and fun as Hell.
“Ladies First” was an amazing day of pinup photography. I still have two clients from the event that I’ll be able to share here on Steemit over the next few days. I’m also starting to dig in to the New Zealand and Australia work. There’s also some photos of still come. I have a giant La Femme En Noir look book shoot Monday, which is what I’m out here for. There’s a lot happening and a lot to be excited for. I’ll be sharing all the progress as I go. For more photography, follow me here
