Have you ever heard of the expression, “…a power move!”? It’s a way of throwing your weight around for the optics of others. When STEEM was at $7 in December of 2017, I did that occasionally. I’d invite all my friends out for dinner, then casually sneak away and pay for the entire bill. Like, 20 people. Power move! I realized sometimes I do power moves on myself. Tonight was one of those occasions.
and I were both exhausted, but I wasn’t able to get much work done at
because I left my Wacom tablet pen at home.
After getting back to the house and getting to bed, I took my seat and started editing. Almost falling asleep at the desk, I managed to work through and finish the remaining edits of my friend and repeat client, Lynda. I’ve posted photos from this and previous shoots with Lynda on Steemit in the past. She’s waited patiently for the last of the work and tonight was the night, come Hell or high water, I was going to finish them. What a tremendous relief it is to finish our a client, especially once that’s been waiting in the wings since April.
This was such a great shoot, as I chronicled in my recent posts with her. My friend Sandy has a breathtaking home in Paradise Palms, NV and she was willing to let us shoot there. I think I saved the best for last for these final edits. She brought a variety of outfits and lingerie and we made use of all the different rooms, pretty much themed, at my friends house. Lynda has gone to Viva the last two years and just has fun. She books shoots with photographers like and my friend Shannon Brooke, and just enjoys herself. She has such good energy and expressiveness as a model.
As I mentioned, this is it for Lynda. We don’t have anything booked on the calendar for Viva Las Vegas next year, so enjoy the final images. I’m still recovering from all the happenings with ,
, my crowdfunding campaign with
and the release of my new print shop. Tomorrow, I’m cleaning the house for a stay with my friend
, in from Seattle. Lots to do. Thanks for reading and supporting my work here on Steemit. For more photography, art and the stories behind the work, follow me here
