Lindsey's "Ladies First" session in Vegas!

Hey, Steemit! It’s a rainy afternoon here in Minneapolis but good for the garden. Hive account@vermillionfox and I are at Hive account@caffetto, which is a nice change of pace. The last week, since being back from Australia and New Zealand, has been just as hectic and busy as the trip itself. That’s kind of discouraging as I was hoping for downtime. Sadly, in just a few days, I’ll be going back to LA for a La Femme En Noir look book shoot, but, after that…things should slow down for the rest of the fall. Maybe too slow, and with alt coin season seemingly passed over, that may be more stress ahead.

For now, I just want to get this last trip over with so I can focus on other projects and editing some of the photos I do still owe. Last night, Hive account@vermillionfox persuaded me to set up in our office and edit the last two images I owed from the Ladies First event I was a guest photographer at in April.It was the right decision. I positioned my iPad Pro across from my Mac then watched UFC 241 while I worked. That’s usually a comfortable arrangement, and in additional to catching up on editing, I was able to unwind and enjoy the fights.

The photos I’m sharing here are of an east coast pinup named Lindsey. She was one of five clients that sold out the "Ladies First" event, and during shooting, she shared with me that she was friends with a model/photographer in Pennsylvania named Tawnie! It’s a small world. Tawnie and I have know each other for almost 10 years. We only had 30 minutes to shoot together, but in that time, we talked and laughed about growing up on the east coast. Lindsey took wonderful direction and I love these images.

I can say that I did succeed in finishing all the clients for this event last night. Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing a few more sets from "Ladies First", and they’re beautiful. One model, even from Australia! Hive account@ghostfish and I have set tomorrow evening aside to shoot the last of the video and audio for our Hive account@coppercoins campaign push, which I’m really excited about.
