Well, I'll tell you a secret. Bought coloring markers for a friend's kid, and... i guess you figured out what happened to them. Stole it and used it for myself:)
Well there is nothing i'll rather be doing on a friday night than relaxing. Listening to music, with maximum volume, having a cup of tea and coloring.
For those who dont know, adult coloring books, yes, adult coloring books are actually beneficial for you. It only recently started to be popular not long ago... well not long, mean past 2010's- ish.
It helps in relaxing, relieving stress- like meditation, it helps in increasing concentration, patience for some.
According to the American Art Therapy Association, i quote "art therapy is a mental health profession in which the process of making and creating artwork is used to "explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem"
Above is the coloring book which was given to me on my birthday... 2 years ago!
Can i suggest to you to try doing that activity. I did mine, and it did take me back to my childhood, as well as helped me dewind from the stressful week i had at work:)
Before last week, i havent drawn/colored for a long long time. My first drawing and coloring was that 'steemit' picture below. And i was pretty pleased with myself and i am hoping to do more coloring. I hope you too soon get a coloring book and pens and start coloring. Let me know if you do, would love to hear from you!
