When I see this kind of spectacle of nature, I am grateful bumblebees still exist on the Earth. These humble hardworking insects help us to fill up with colorful landscapes. They are larger than honeybees, although they don't produce honey. However, they are important pollinators like bees are. Without them, food wouldn't grow.
According to the National Wildlife Federation, bumblebees are better pollinator in comparison with other insects; that's because their wings beat 130 times or more per second. The combination of the beating and their large bodies vibrates flowers until they release pollen, which is called buzz pollination to help plants produce more fruit.
Unfortunately, this is another endangered species. In some years, they may already be extinct because they face many threats like habitat loss, pesticides, introduced diseases, climate change, and competition from honey bees. So if you see bumblebees around, don't kill them. Remember that they help us to have food and flowers on our tables.
