Because I cannot photograph the inside of the Latter-day Saint temples, I must content myself with the outside. So I actually look for cool sky possibilities so I have a good backdrop for the exterior shots of the temple.
Last week provided the perfect opportunity. The early morning hours presented a brewing storm, with looming clouds that hinted of thunder, and the occasional spot of deep color within.
So, I grabbed my camera, headed to the Jordan River Temple while it was still lit up, and took a few quick shots before the rain poured down.
Incidentally, I am working at growing my little YouTube channel, and I just posted a new video of a different temple -- this one in Idaho -- from the very next day after capturing Jordan River!
