La chute - The Fall #1
#1 asks the question of time, and the place of men and women in our time. It has five layers. Five being the most enigmatic number, because we don't know really if it is a prime number or not. It's not a sheer of luck if we have five fingers on our hands to touch. Touch to feel and express kindness, gentleness or violence.
Architecture and its decay reminds us that nothing is durable, and our bodies are acting the same. It asks the question of the future of men in relation to women, as well. In this picture it seems that men is triumphant and is the way of the future, or is it ?
Shameless marketing has downgraded humanity to a point where nothing seems true or false anymore, post-truth some call it.
Women are suffering and that is a reality. Women are still living under the pressure of men. They need to contort themselves in order to live in this enigmatic era that is ours.
This image also reveal a kind of "eternal return" in all things, bike symbolizing a modern way of being "in touch" with nature again, and the trees/sky in the last layer symbolize nature itself, untouched.
La chute - The Fall #2
#2 has a story linked with Covid-19 and is dedicated to all lost people, lost memories and/or lost funerals. Enough said.
