The below are some RAW footage that were taken at Scarborough Park, Sydney, Australia.
I just purchased some neutral density filter or ND filters (ND8-PL, ND16-PL, ND32-PL and ND64-PL) from Neewer.
ND filters are like sunglasses for your camera
So I took those bad boys to the test. The goal was to make the lake silky smooth.
You will need to put your camera on the tripod as you will need to reduce the shutter speed because any movement will ruin the photo.
Select the lowest possible ISO, I had it on 100.
Depending on the day (how much sunlight) select the appropriate ND filter. You will need to experiment by using different settings and different ND filter.

You can buy ND filters for most DSLR cameras, drones, GoPro and DJI handheld cameras.
There is 3 types of neutral density filter;
- ND filters - best used for cloudy or slight sunny days
- ND filters with polarized - best used for sunny days
- CPL filter (stands for circular polarize) - is used to reduce glare
I had so much fun using the ND filters with my DJI Osmo Pocket.
