This Is Not A Macro Photography Post | Photo Gallery

Alright the title is a bit cheeky yes, but you see I have this buddy over at Curie who is an amazing photographer... and I need to give him a bit of a hard time. Quite frequently someone will ask about a post including photos such as mine below... stating it was good macro photography. I think every time it happens Hive account@markangeltrueman’s head explodes a little bit, the he politely (in his British way) explains that they are not Macro shots, but just up close photos of stuff. It makes me giggle every single time.

So, after a lovely hike with the tiny humans, I came back with these non macro shots and wanted to post them... the whole time thinking about how they weren’t macro, just some photos of things from close up.

Now that we got all that cleared up... here are some up close photos I took today that I really loved. Also, Mark... try to not be such a wanker... up close photos are nice too 😉
