The word bonsai comes from Japanese and the meaning is 'tree in a pot'. The plant must look like a real tree, found in nature in miniature form.

Bonsai can be grown from different types of trees, some of which are less suitable. Bonsai is the result of various cultivation techniques - cutting, pruning, later wire forming, as this inhibits growth and maintains the desired shape of the tree. And so the trees become very interesting shapes.
