Deception pass is a state park in Northwest Washington, also most famous is the Deception Pass Bridge which is you can walk on the sidewalk to enjoy the views of the shore below between Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands. Canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking or you may just want to enjoy the beautiful beach with some bbq are the activities you can do there.
To us, it was just a weekend get away, physically and mentally recharging our heavy load from the weekday. It was the best breathtaking view with tons of fun. We stayed overnight at one of the hotels close by and came back home by the end of the 2nd day which is 2 hours from our house.
Adam and his dad.
The birds won't even bother with the crowd, they were busy with their own life.
Most of the people do canoeing, fishing and swimming here, one of the lakes we passed by on the way to the beach (few hundreds feet before the beach).

We drove on top of the bridge but didn't get down from the car and walk on the bridge as others do, we were so nervous that Adam will jump down since he is so obsessed with water.
