Previous week we had some hot sunny days and I saw our big Aesculapian snake sun bathing almost every day, so I just had to take a few photos. Even the dog got used to it so he doesn't run towards it barking.
But he still wants to check it out, so when the snake leaves her home like this, it's better to keep him at bay :) And it even got used to us a little, it doesn't run immediately when it senses us. Its a very long snake, I wonder how old it is. I actually feel somewhat bad for that wound our dog caused it, but it seems it doesn't bother her.
And I was happy when I finally saw another one, usually there were many, but this year it's the first time I saw another of this species besides our usual large guest. It's smaller, but it's nice to see they are getting along, each of them in their own hole :)
For the end something different, this guy came to see how well I cleaned the car after I bought it :) He was sitting there quite a while, before I even saw him, apparently not scared at all. He flew away after he gave his aproval, hehe.
