I remember my childhood with tons of snow. I remember being so small and snow so high that I could dig some snow caves from one house to another without seeing the sky. That is how much snow we used to have. But these days. What do we have now? Maybe 5 days of thin snow layers throughout the whole Winter. Sad, isn't it? Even though I am definitely not a fan of cold, I still care for the days we had- with real Summer and real Winter. Now it is neverending Autumn.
Yesterday I wrote about glaciers that are melting. Today I came across a video that made me remember my own words: http://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2017/11/world/greenland-global-warning/
I know that they have been telling us about this (melting glaciers and global warming) for years now, but still not a lot has changed about our lifestyle and the way we are dealing with destroying our own planet. If that is not selfish, I do not know what is.
We don't have snow in my country like we used to. If you still do - get your gloves on and enjoy it while you still have it! Get your family gathered in your backyard and build a snowman and make a snowangel. I doesn't seem so special until the day you have no snow in your country and you have to settle for mud angels.
