There is a fountain close to Pikku-Vesijärvi with a systems of lights made up of about 250 lights of different colors and about 650 individual spray nozzels on six concentric rings. It is under maintenance in May every year. It was interesting to take a look at the system and hear about the problems that plague the system from a maintenance man who happened to be there.
This is the pond emptied of water. It's a couple of meters deep.
Four powerful pumps maintaining pressure in the system. The whole thing is controlled by a PC in a partly underground concrete bunker with a door to it nearby.

Valves controlling water flow into the nozzles
Brass lamp casings
I was told this is what the whole thing looked like after a cleaning crew was done with it. The water is very muddy. Some of that concrete has been added by the maintenance company. The bottom is muddy and not very stable. According to the maintenance man, the whole thing will most likely be able to be operated for another five years or so at most.
