Iran and neighboring Turkey will establish a joint bank to increase trade. The banks will use the two countries' own currency.
Urmila Killar, the head of the Iran-Turkey Business Council, said this. He said this initiative will be taken as a supplementary step in the trilateral summit held recently in Tehran.
Umit Keller said that the use of own currency has already been discussed. By establishing a joint bank, the process of using the own currency instead of the dollar or any other currency will be easy.
He said Turkish investors, importers and exporters will support the idea of establishing joint banks. Besides, the use of coins in two countries has been used for a long time in the trade of Iran and Turkey.
Turkey's business leader said the establishment of a bank between the two countries is necessary because it plans to implement the $ 3000 billion trade plan between Iran and Turkey. Currently, there are trade between the two countries for one billion and one billion dollars.
