Hi everyone!
Dark thick clouds didn´t stop me to take a walk yesterday. There was a flea market for two days in our area that was sponsored by the Church. It was around a 15 minute-walk, so I decided to go there by foot. The idea was to have "two birds in one shot".... a walking exercise and at the same time go and see whether I could get new materials as props from my photography. But I did not see interesting materials. I saw a tablecloth in green, the one I used for the photography here.
During the walk I discovered yellow flowers from the field... rows of flowering plants that I have never seen before. I won´t really consider it wild one because I think it is kind of a crop. It has a bulging bud with the yellow flower on its top. The farmers who tills the land planted this in one field. Am just so sorry I forgot to take a photo of the field because it started drizzling so I hurried home.
Back home, I cleaned the stems of what I have gathered and put them in a greek vase. The greek vase was a souvenir of my husband from a holiday in Greece when he was in his teens. The color of the vase suits well to the striking yellow color of the bud flower... All the yellow and white flowers were picked -up from an open field.
I hope everyone is having fun. ENJOY !!!
