On the image above is the Sv. Stefan island. It's located in the muncipality of Budva - the tourist center of Montenegro. In the background you can see the Budva Riviera which consists of sandy beaches, pedestrian zones, St. Nicola Island - often called Hawaii.
Sv. Stefan is a medieval fortress built in the XIV century. It had an enormous strategic importance due to its geographical location and it was a safe harbour for Venetian and other trading ships in the Adriatic sea.
Nowadays is a elite-tourism city-hotel. It was a host to many famous persons through the time, most recently the Beckham family was on holiday in Sv. Stefan.
