10 “Nezuko, Don’t Give In. You’ve Gotta Hang On!!”
This happens in the beginning of the series, when Nezuko turns for the first time. She immediately attacks Tanjiro because she is not in her senses, as her demon instincts are speaking to her.
Tanjiro does not give up on her and utters these words because he still has faith in her. He then starts crying and to his surprise, he sees Nezuko cry as well because she had finally recognized him.
9 “Well Done Tanjiro. I’m Truly Proud.”
As Tanjiro’s sensei, Sakonji Urokodaki is extremely strict with him regarding his Demon Slayer regimen. He can be seen training him under harsh natural conditions and among deadly traps that can kill Tanjiro very easily.

However, he could also see Tanjiro hold the demon’s hand to his forehead, and ask for mercy toward him. This is a surprising feat, but is useful since it serves the purpose of establishing Tanjiro’s excessive empathy.
7 "You’re Here! You Came Back Alive!!”
At the beginning of the Final Selection exam, viewers can see many eager youngsters standing on the ground, waiting to clear their exams. By the end, only four children had survived. Witnessing this shocked Tanjiro.
